Job training refers to programs designed to equip individuals with the skills, knowledge, and experience necessary to perform specific tasks or jobs. This includes but is not limited to vocational training, on–the–job training, apprenticeships, and workshops that focus on various technical and soft skills.
These services are crucial for individuals impacted by the opioid epidemic as it equips them with essential skills, boosts employability, and supports recovery by fostering stability and confidence.
